Connectivity Timeouts to US East SendGrid Region

These maintenances affect outgoing email on the Zenith Media Canada Network of servers, all outgoing email unless configured by the client to do otherwise rely on the smart host gateway of SendGrid.

Resolved - Beginning 12:00 PM PT on September 28, 2023, our engineers confirmed that connectivity began to fail for API calls made to api.sendgrid.com for a subset of users. This issue affected mail send as well as user interface web console functionality for the SendGrid platform. This only affected users which connected through the United States East Coast region to api.sendgrid.com. It was determined that one of the connectivity points within the region for api.sendgrid.com was unable to accept API traffic which was causing the API connections to fail. This connectivity point was fixed at 12:54 PM PT, and this change allowed new connections to successfully use api.sendgrid.com from the region. The issue has been resolved and all impacted services are now operating normally.
