Single Sends can’t be sent

Sendgrid Outgoing Mail Gateway Original incident notification from SendGrid
These maintenances affect outgoing email on the Zenith Media Canada Network of servers, all outgoing email unless configured by the client to do otherwise rely on the smart host gateway of SendGrid.

Monitoring - Our engineers are noticing improvements in Single Sends. Queued emails are currently flowing and segments are being updated. We will continue to monitor the outage with our vendor as things improve. We will provide another update in the next two hours, or as soon as more information becomes available.

Identified - Engineers had ultimately identified what originally was causing Single Sends to not trigger and go out. However, although customers are now able to trigger Single Sends, due to an ongoing outage with one of our third party vendors, mail events are delayed as of 8 am PT today. Additionally, Single Sends using segments have not been updated since 8 am PT, and will not update until mail events are processed. Mail events will be processed when the vendor outage has been resolved. Single Sends using lists are processing as normal. We will provide another update in an hour or as soon as more information becomes available.

Monitoring - Our engineers have implemented a fix and are monitoring system performance. Customers are now able to send Single Sends via Marketing Campaigns at this time. Single Sends triggered during the time of this incident have also be sent out at this time. We will provide another update in an hour or as soon as more information becomes available.

Investigating - Beginning 8:30 AM PT on November 23, our engineers began investigating an issue with sending test emails and Single Sends within Marketing Campaigns.

Customers may see the following error when attempting to send the Single Send: "We were unable to send your test. Please verify email addresses are valid and separated by a comma, and try again."

This only affects mail sent via Marketing Campaigns. Customers are able to initiate the sends, but they will not trigger and stats won't display correctly.

We will provide another update in an hour or as soon as more information becomes available.
